Here is what I think:
Gandalf/Obi Wan Kenobi leaves his usual companions to investigate the source of evil alone. He tracks it to Dol Guldur/Geonosis, where he is captured by The Necromancer/Count Dooku, who is reviled to secretly be Sauron/Darth Tyranus. Some of Gandalf's/Obi Wan's friends show up to attempt a rescue, but get into trouble themselves until another friend arrives with an army of elves/clones. A battle ensues, and the White/Jedi council appear to be victorious at great cost, but this has been planned for, and Sauron/Tyranus escape. Later, they meet with their secret ally on the council: Saruman/Palpatine.

In theory, yes. It will be that scene where you can see all the elves (Jedi) show their stuff in battle. Hopefully afterwards we aren't left with a sour taste in our mouth.
One Jedi Legolas is enough, I don't want to see a lot of them. Hopefully they will be more like the elves at Helm's Deep, and not super powered.
