The removal of publicity materials and toys featuring Beorn strongly suggests Film 1 will end before arrival at his house.
There really are only 3 options for the end point now:
1) In the Air, carried by Eagles
2) At the Eagles' Aerie
3) At the Carrock

Beorn has been edited from the scroll, from the cast list and from the official synopsis (where the word shapeshifter has been specifically deleted). It is difficult to think of an explanation for these changes which is not the most straighforward one.
