Does anyone else feel like they've almost seen the movie already?

With all the released pics, v-logs and character reveals, I'm finding it hard to think of a scene in the film that I haven't already imagined/ half guessed as to how it will play out. The Dol Goldur sub plot aside, I get the feeling there's almost no surprises left for me in the 1st film, and only the spiders scene and perhaps Beorn in the 2nd. But I know, try as I may, there's no stopping me from spoiling the 3rd film for myself as well, by gobbling up all the future snippets of news I can find!
Having said that, there do remain some small details I wonder about. For example, I'm intrigued to see how PJ has the goblins capture the dwarves and not Gandalf, and exactly how the Goblin King is slain (not sure if I'll be pleased with this one though)
Are there any scenes you are especially looking forward to seeing because you're intrigued how they will be portrayed?

I've spent a lot of time seeking news and reading speculations, and it was full of fun and surprise. Some of this fun or surprise I won't have during the movie, but I had it before so it's not lost.

And Im still incredibly excited about it all. It's just my imagination has filled in a lot of the gaps of how PJ will deal with each scene. Hopefully I will still be surprised.

I know I have enjoyed taking part in all the speculation, some of which have only been made possible thanks to spoilers.
Have I spoiled some of the surprises for myself? Yup, most definitely. Have I enjoyed analyzing these spoiled surprises until nothing remains, with everyone else here on TORN? Yup, most definitely.

I so hope PJ allows Gandalf to burn holes in some goblins and have a spectacular moment slaying the GK . But I fear he will somehow avoid using his power by not being around when they're taken prisoner, and rescuing them by chance or trickery.

is how faithful will Peter be, and, in the areas where he does deviate from the main story, will the deviations still be reasonably faithful to the larger Legendarium. So I am combing for details, happy about things like the dwarves song and the like, guardedly optimistic but not without concerns over some of the Dol Guldur stuff. . . I haven't really seen enough to know enough.

Knowing of Peter's reported "disdain" for magical displays (though it certainly didn't stop him with Saruman and Arwen), I also worry that he will find a way to neuter the Wizard's wizardry in these scenes, and have some lame (by contrast) sequence of events, that achieves the same end by much less impressive means than the book relates. If you add it up, we've seen no more than a couple of minutes of actual footage - which might not appear in the film itself, or might be used in a way no one has yet imagined. Same with the stills - there's a whole lot more speculation round here than knowledge.

I think its best that PJ release lots of info, because many people tend to have such crazy expectations or off the cuff reactions, that i think that they would not enjoy the movie if they went in not aware of what to expect.
At least with all these tid bits, people can have time to adapt themselves to something they would not like at first and get use to or warm up to the idea.
For instance, the look of the Dwarves. I feel like many people would have probably walk out of the movie theater at with the first appearance of some of these Dwarves...lol

it feels like less than 5% but anyone wanna do trailer math? 
ALSO, nothing like experiencing a movie itself, all these little bits and bobs don't equal that.

Due to the fact that the trailers showed about three minutes each, as opposed to the fullness and glory of three Hobbit films. The spoilers, yes, make it a bit less surprising, but a part of the fun as a fan is witnessing more of Middle-Earth coming back to life on the screen- especially for those of us who were too young to see the first trilogy being made. It's enjoyable to see the process and catch glimpses of what is to come, different from seeing the films a few years after they were made and seeing whatever extra footage they include.
We get to witness the return of Middle-Earth, which is really quite a treat.
As for my anticipated scene in the film, I'm excited to see the Dwarves going down the river in barrels, which we have seen a small glimpse of in the production blog.

I just realized I was 14 when Fellowship came out. I didn't really follow the making of those films until the EEs came out and fell in love with behind the scenes documentaries. Half the reason I wanted to be in the industry. Anyone else looking forward to the behind the scenes and commentary on The Hobbit films as much as I am?
I'm really excited for Bilbo surprising the dwarves after escaping the Misty Mountains!

The behind-the-scenes documentaries as well, they will be great if they're even half as good as the ones for LotR. I've always found documentaries such as those intriguing.

I don't know if it makes one crazy to hope that all of the more iconic and famous scenes from the books remain very close to the books narrative in how they are portrayed on film.
That said, while it certainly isn't needed for Peter to give huge parts of the film ahead of time, it probably is a good idea to get any really noticable changes and or ommissions out there on the table for exactly the reasons you stated.
Time is a powerful Force, and it can ease people into acceptance who might otherwise be given over to outrage regarding certain alterations.
The dwarves appearances didn't bother me much, aside from Dwalin being bald and not having a blue-grey beard, and Thorin's beard being too short (well, that axe bit in Bifur's skull is a bit much, but I can live with him having it if he can). But any big alterations to the Smaug conversation, or to Gandalf's magical defenses/attacks against the goblins and wargs. . . or massive structural changes like the fact that we won't see Thranduil until film 2! . . . yeah, best to give a little forewarning about such things. I have had a loooooooong time to get over the dwarves. The first time I saw them I was gnawing the furniture in rage, which is not very ladylike behaviour during an elven ladies tea party I can tell you. After I had thrown my sticky buns out of the flet, and sprayed everyone with crumbs, I calmed down and now I can look at them without that annoying eye twitch, well I can look at Kili all day....hem!.....cough!.......they have grown on me somewhat.

I remember seeing heaps of amazingly detailed, hi res promo pictures of characters from LotR, and even though I didn't have much internet access back then, I saw a lot of promo pics, watched the trailer obsessively, etc and of course, had read the book, but I was still totally blown away when I actually saw FotR the first time.
This time around, I checked out the first, early promo pics and watched the vlogs, but not obsessively, and I took a break from these forum for a few weeks, and now I'm just casually glancing at promo material so that the movie will still be a huge surprise.
Also, the fact that it will be greatly expanded and we can only make guesses as to what scenes may be included, means that the vast majority of the movie will be a surprise, despite having read the book!
I look forward to doing all the analysing and poring over images *after* seeing the movie :)
