Elrond or Galadriel: But where is Radagast? Saruman: Radagast the brown? Radagast the bird tamer? Radagast the simpleton; Radagast the fool. (well; let's say two out of those four styles)

Saruman looks exactly the same! It's got to be a picture from LOTR.

While he is never specifically named in the Council, it is odd he would be ignored. Why would the Council purposely omit a Wizard? Don't say his advice wouldn't be useful, because Elrond sent his sons to consult with Radagast. Members known: Cirdan (who isn't in the picture yet was in ROTK) Galadriel Gandalf Saruman Elrond Members that could be assumed: Celeborn Glorfindel Radagast Erestor

Holy crap, this website is full of goodies. Did anybody check out LOTR, POTC, and the other movies that they had? A treasure chest indeed.

I was under the impression that this was a physical feature that hinted at "evil" in LOTR... Might have made sense to change that for TH...

I see the same blue taint on this picture of Orcrist, but perhaps it's just the reflection of the sky http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/656082066.jpg

Or does it just look like that? In the upper pic? The sleeve and the fabric look different.

And Saruman's supposed to be a book worm. Perhaps the magic helps.

How could anyone look at this Saruman and believe he's a good guy? Or is he meant to represent 'good but dangerous', like Galadriel?
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. In terms of making a quality and approachable movie for the casual fan, introducing Cirdan, Glofindel and Erestor into the story not long after introducing the 13 dwarves would be very tricky to do. Tolkein never gave them essential roles in the White Council so it's not surprising they've been omitted. Radagast on the other hand is more surprising an omission given he's in the film anyway. There must be a good reason. Maybe he'll be protrayed as more 'washed up' than in the books.

One can easily make out a hole punched through the cover.

I wonder what the Gandalf quote means? Or in what context it is being used in the films?
