Still more to come....? Can't Post

Since the release of The Hobbit trailer and getting caught up in it, I totally forgot about a comment PJ made on his facebook page. He said "We're also going to share some special content with the fans"

What is this special content going to be? A vlog or something else?

I've been waiting, too [In reply to] Can't Post

But I think we've gotten all we're gonna get Unsure

But I will certainly still take a vlog. I'm surprised we didn't get anything today, being the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit, something PJ specifically stated.

I don't consider trailers being spoiled [In reply to] Can't Post

Since every film ever released gets one. And glimpses of the trailer the day before don't count either.

The only thing I think was spoily!! was the leaked alternate vlog which was AWESOME!

I don't know, I did expect something more from PJ.

I don't think we'll get one that soon [In reply to] Can't Post

Perhaps the first sneak peak will be on the AUJ blu-ray/DVD.

Hoping for a DOS trailer in December seeing as we got one for AUJ. [In reply to] Can't Post

But a sneak peak on the Blu-ray sounds likely. WB did that for most of the HP movies.

I'm not saying it's not possible [In reply to] Can't Post

But I don't expect it.

I expect WB to still be promoting AUJ well into the new year. Then they'll be promoting the blu-ray. I expect DOS promotion to start once the blu-ray has been released.

I am holding out for another vlog... [In reply to] Can't Post

... and I hope it includes some justification from PJ about the decision to go to three movies. What was it that tipped them over the edge? I still feel there is a lot more that he could tell us about his mindset.

Not very interesting for the rest of the world [In reply to] Can't Post

But the Norwegian Hobbit Facebook page just announced a quiz which is going to start soon. The main price is 4 tickets to the London Hobbit premiere (hotel and transport included).

Wish me luck Cool

My guess is that it was the alternative endings, too. [In reply to] Can't Post

I agree we are due for a post-production vlog, though. They should be working on CGI and score among other things, with sound coming last (?), I guess. But Peter is still editing, I imagine. With everything being digital these days, will we not see a physical copy being handed over to Hollywood types, a la ROTK? And will PJ take it down to the wire, putting a lid on things the week before premiere? I should like to know.

I wasn't watching the movies then, but did the EE of the DVDs come out when.. [In reply to] Can't Post

the newest film was released? But then again, I can't remember when the theatrical version came out. Was it in the spring, with the EE coming out in the autumn/winter?

EE releases [In reply to] Can't Post

I think FOTR & TTT were released in November, so before the theatrical release of the next film. But ROTK EE came out in December.

FOTR & TTT came out in August I think, or September maybe. ROTK came out in May.
