I actually swear. But I appreciate judicious use of swear words and the fact that we don't encourage them here. And when swear words are in the subject line, everytime I visit that board I *see* it. It's kind of relentless. A word spoken is heard once as an accent on a moment. A word written is *heard* over and over and over again.
With the second swear word cropping up in a subject line in the Hobbit board, I guess I see a loosening of the guidelines occurring and worry it will become more frequent.
And for the record, I consider WTF to be swearing. I don't care if you didn't say it. I *hear* it when I read that acronym. I'm not sure I saw that in the subject line recently but I read it recently.
