I didn't mention anything about a more "purist" set of films. I was only talking about wishing they were better films. Ones that were more subtly directed. It saddens me that I will likely only see PJ's version of Middle Earth on screen in my lifetime. I don't believe in reincarnation, so it really does make me a bit sad!
