The last child of Ungoliant vs the High King of Gondor and Arnor...who will win? (and yes, I know that Sam beat Shelob, but that was down to a combination of luck, quick-thinking and determination, as oppose to an actual contest of strength).

Elendil was never renowned for his fighting (but neither was Shelob). They'd probably mortally wound each other.
