Something coming on "Hobbit Day?" Can't Post

http://www.facebook.com/...t_count=1&ref=nf

"Hobbit Day" almost certainly refers to September 22nd, the day The Hobbit was published.

If the official Hobbit Facebook page is calling attention to this, I imagine we've got something coming our way on that date - whether it be the new trailer or a new video blog.

An announcement that due to constant fan grumbling, [In reply to] Can't Post

all three films are being edited into a single abbreviated version - The Hobb - to be released in 2015? EvilWink

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use of not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, plus the inclusion of axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

That would be nice - only two more weeks until the new trailer... [In reply to] Can't Post

hoping for something fairly lengthy, perhaps 3 min, 30 sec. - which ironically, would also be the running time of AUJ! Tongue

Yes...coming from the Official movie site.. [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd like to believe that it means something really cool.

However I'm not sure that marketing is that clever...but I sure hope they are!

Funny [In reply to] Can't Post

The confirmation of the shortened film 1 was brilliantly timed, really. Right before a trailer that will undoubtedly get everyone re-exicted all over again.

I bet he has at least 80% of the same DNA as PJ [In reply to] Can't Post

But actually the entire human race shares more DNA than that so that really isn't saying much.

That's pretty good! [In reply to] Can't Post

It actually makes things easier to understand for someone like me who hasn't gotten around to reading the whole Silmarillion.
