Help - Looking for Galadriel print Can't Post

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any picture/painting/print of Galadriel available to buy online?
I just had a little girl and gave her the middle name Galadriel so I really want a beautiful picture for her wall.
It does not have to be film related, I love the Alan Lee picture however I can not find it anywhere to purchase!
Thank you in advance Heart

I know I live in my own little world, but it's OK they know me here!

Awh, congrats! [In reply to] Can't Post

I was going to suggest a figure or bust from Sideshowtoy.com. They make incredible sculptures. But I found this on their site: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/...e_id=4489&sku=901244

Hope it helps, Good luck!

I think one thing you're running up against... [In reply to] Can't Post

is that people can draw and paint all the pictures they want drawing from Tolkien but if they want to make money from them, they have to work out the licensing and it's a tricky, complicated business that many won't bother with.

Have you looked through deviantART? (don't let the name throw you) That site can be a treasure trove of artwork and if you find something you like, perhaps you could work out a private arrangement with the artist to get a print quality file you could have printed on your own. It wouldn't be a large print, for sure. But if you got something in the range of 8.5x11 and under and then had it matted with a nice frame, it could be lovely.

Otherwise, I suspect all you'll find is movie related merchandise.

use categories on the left to narrow results down.

off hand thought: One of the things that distinguishes Galadriel is her swan boats. I have this really lovely card a friend-in-Tolkien from Boston sent me. It's either artwork or an altered photograph of the swan boats in Boston with glitter applied. You could do a sub theme of swans that could be fun.

This photo of the card doesn't do it justice. It shows off the structure of the glitter too much when the real effect is just sparkly.

edit to add: it might be worth searching through Etsy. I don't use that site a lot and don't have a clear sense if they'd have anything. But it doesn't cost anything to look. The site is down now so I can't do a quick search to see what I'd find.

Awesome!! Congratulations!! :D [In reply to] Can't Post

That's Wonderful News!!! :)

I always race off to eBay when I start hunting for something. I'll bet you'll find something there. OR there's Allposters.com. Type in a Lord of the Rings search, and you'll find loads of posters, t-shirts, etc. I'm afraid I didn't have time to scroll through all of them :)

Happy Hunting!! AND CONGRATS AGAIN!! :)

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
