that's the only one that brought laughter tears to my eyes--although I loved Hogan's Heroes, too. There were several episodes of the Bill Cosby Show that I really howled at, too.

I'm not sure how far back we can go to be considered "old", but my favorites growing up were: - Three's Company
- Different Strokes (Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?)
- MASH
- Benson
- Cheers
- Happy Days
- WKRP in Cincinnati
- Laverne and Shirley
- The Cosby Show
- Taxi
Wow, I watched a lot of television. What were my parents thinking???? Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane! Nuradar

Green Acres. All us kids thought it was so cool when the tv show started. We all called it Green Acres but it didn't have a sign (was told there was one at some time) but most people don't know what it's called. It's only three streets on the outskirts of Eastport in Annapolis Maryland.

Batman when I was in the third grade. I remember I couldn't wait to go to school the next day to talk about it with my friends.

I saw the *all* in the 70's but I think my favorite may be Gilligan's Island. Probably the sense of adventure (cool! on an island) combined with the funny inventions and the silly situations the group found themselves in,

that are perpetually getting stuck inside my head on a seemingly endless loop. Actually, it's one of the more benign ones. Out of kindness I won't tell you the others.

... I'd have to go with shows such as Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers, Two Ronnies, Monty Python and On the Buses. Even though I'm much too young to have been around when these shows were, they're so much bettter & funnier than the modern 'comedy' of today!
