The Oil Majors, easily [In reply to] Can't Post

Turin would defeat the Oil Majors on the field of battle and then they'd take him to court - and win. Their lawyers would dredge up his past, stuff like how he slept with his sister, murdered all of his friends, led a band of outlaws, and had bizarre parents. The tabloids would print it all, his fans would turn on him, he would have to declare bankruptcy, and then quite possibly he'd do something crazy.

It'd make an awesome movie. Young Swords, the tale (in moving pictures) of a tragically misunderstood swordslinger's fight against the system. Starring Emilio Estevez, of course. And featuring Patrick Wayne as Mablung and Lou Diamond Phillips as Beleg.
