Wow [In reply to] Can't Post

I thought they'd be shooting right up to the wrap party on July 7th.

Peter Jackson must be on cloud nine right now.

Maybe it's his last four days? Though you would think he'd say "my" last four days if that were so.

I read it as his last four days... [In reply to] Can't Post

... because of the way he begins 'I start the final four days...' not 'We start the final four days....' From the way he's worded that I don't think it's necessarily over for everyone.

Cloud 9... [In reply to] Can't Post

I expect PJ is looking forward to starting pre production on Tintin 2 soon Tongue He's been wanting to make it a very long time.

20 answers... [In reply to] Can't Post

...plus 30 minutes of footage, exclusively for the people attending Comic Con Wink

Would be depressing for the rest of us so I hope that doesn't happen.

I loved the first one, and I think he's going to do a great job with the second one ;)

That's why I'm hoping we get a trailer a few days later with TDKR [In reply to] Can't Post

Even if it's the ten-minute footage shown at CinemaCon, I think it's a safe bet that Comic Con attendees will get to see some footage, while those of us at home will be tortured by the reactions and descriptions that flood the Internet soon after.

A new trailer with Batman would soften the blow a bit.

But I bet those 20 answers come after shooting ends and PJ isn't quite as crazy busy shooting these two giant films.

A 20-questions session is probably almost certain to get heavily into plot/detail. Just consider: no-one's going to send in a question about how the logistics of feeding 500 people on set every day works! Or about the scouting or getting film permits or the pother minutiae of how blockbusters are organised.

It seems to me that Wellywood is concealing plot changes (and plot non-changes!) as much as they can -- to a far greater extent than occurred for rings sequence.

20 questions is just not conducive to that strategy.

So we have PDs instead because it can just be visual and pretty, and it can go into random stuff that's about the filming, but not actually about the content of the film itself.
