Dol Guldur where we see Gandalf... I could be wrong, but some of the building faces remind me of those of Dol Guldur

But these pictures clearly show a ruined human city, and not a Necromancer's evil lair. The only similarity between these images and those are the leave-less trees, and some of the stonework. If you look closely, you will see rows of houses with red-tiled rooftops, carved stone roosters (and ducks?), etc. This is definitely a once-thriving civilization gone defunct. Now, it is possible that the long stone causeway is part of a Dol Guldur set, and that multiple sets were placed in one location, but I doubt it... These images look very similar to the other brief glimpses of Dale we have seen, though in both cases, their authenticity was never confirmed... My guess? These are indeed images of a ruined Dale. And the fact that the production team bothered to create full sets of a ruined Dale tells me that Bilbo and company may walk through them before reaching the mountain... photo

Do I resize and repost it? I don't have any photo-sharing accounts, so perhaps someone else could repost in an acceptable format?

There are guides someplace around here. Hopefully someone more knowing than I will be able to give you a hand.

But I am contractually prohibited from using such sites by an employer, as they often reveal your email address (whether that is your intention or not). Would you mind uploading the image to photobucket, re-sizing and re-posting it here?

Quite a bit of snow all over these ruins, which suggests to me that they sit on the slopes of the Lonely Mountain...

The picture above the bottom right one interests me most (i.e. the one right of the two smallest ones). Did the people have anything to do with animals? Because it looks to me that the green statue (left side of picture) is a rooster/chicken facing/running towards us (you can also see the claw above the second R). You can also clearly see the comb and wattle! There is also a similar green shape on the bottom right; and what looks to be like an ostrich hanging from the ceiling

Yes, I'm intrigued by it too (although I'd have said it seems to be a fairly good likeness of a goose). I'm trying to work out how it's supported - is it on one of the wire-type things coming down from above? Are the wires attached to the column with the disc on top? Did old Dale have an ornamental poultry-themed merry-go-round? And if so, why??

It does look like a goose or a duck! Glad I'm not the only one seeing things! Maybe it's some sort of outside park/open area - a recreational area for whoever lives here? I can see one of the dwarves trying to have a go on this merry-go-round
