George Stromboulopoulos has Dominic Monaghan, Merry in "Lord of the Rings," for a sit down. He has a nicely produced and abbreviated bio followed by lots of talk about his latest film, "The Day." As you might expect, they also talk some rings and "Lost." LOTR talk starts at about the 6:30 mark but the whole interview is excellent. Enjoy and if you leave comments on the YouTube page, tell them TheOneRing sent you.
is awesome. This is an interview done up here in Canada. George Strombooulouelsoslejweousljuelous.....(sorry, I can never spell his name correctly, which is why he's known as 'Strombo' up here). He does some fantastic interviews and is one of the best 'young' interviewers we have. He got his start in radio, I first remember him on an alternative music station in Toronto called CFNY. He was also employed by Canada's version of MTV called MuchMusic for a while. Now, his show called 'The Hour' is broadcast on the CBC. I love this show. So glad this interview made its way to TOR.n.....Oh, yeah...Dom is pretty good in the clip too. What's the matter, James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?"
I meant to record this (as it comes on very late here on the West Coast) and I completely forgot. I usually check to see who George has on daily, because I enjoy his interview style. "There are some things that it is better to begin than to refuse, even though the end may be dark."
