I didn't realize there was only one spot left since I had been away from the boards for awhile. I was going to vote for Cirdan regardless, which would have given 10 points and the final spot, but I spent a good 5 minutes agonizing over who should get my second vote, which was completely inconsequential.
As three great Jewels they were in form. but we can modify the rules abit to make up for the amount of fabourite charcters
e.g. reduce the amount of points per character to something lower than 10. I was thinking 6 or so.

why not just work with the forum's mod to plan to have a series of threads, each capped at, say, 250 or 300 posts. alert the mod when we're getting close, so they can lock it and you can open "thread 2" or whatever?

I think it's more fun if the +/- are the same. Would be harder to defend a favourite with a higher minus score, so less of a game.

Yes, the thread was broken into pieces, then it was stickied, now the middle sections have vanished....as you've noticed, we're playing around with settings and testing different options to find out what the limits are. We seem to be approaching a solution so hopefully we can give you the lowdown soon on how these games can work in the future. Just hang in there a little longer!
