$113.11? Can't Post

Is anyone else seeing this in threads? It's here (http://newboards.theonering.net/...m.cgi?post=4445#4445) in text above Aerlinn's message, and again here (http://newboards.theonering.net/...m.cgi?post=4425#4425) in what looks like an image between Aerlinn's and Foe's posts.

It does seem to be following Aerlinn around the boards. Is it trying to tell us something, we wonders? Yes, we wonders...

Out of the darkness of my life, so much frustrated, I put before you the one great thing to love on earth: the Blessed Sacrament... There you will find romance, glory, honour, fidelity, and the true way of all your loves on earth, and more than that: Death: by the divine paradox, that which ends life, and demands the surrender of all, and yet by the taste (or foretaste) of which alone can what you seek in your earthly relationships (love, faithfulness, joy) be maintained, or take on that complexion of reality, of eternal endurance, which every man's heart desires.

It's not just *following* Aerlinn, [In reply to] Can't Post

it's firmly attached to her :-)

A little .jpg from Aerlinn's Photobucket account has got itself in a prominent position. It has the benefit of having made Ataahua doubt her sanity, so it's not all bad :-)

Because it's appearing above her posts, not in the usual sig area. At least, on my screen. I wonder why?

Unbalanced table tags, I think. [In reply to] Can't Post

Those can have really weird effects on formatting.

From what I can see, Aerlinn's sig code looks like this:

<table>
  <tr>
    <td>
      <img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v316/AerlinnS/TORnsign.bmp>
    </td>
    <td>
      <font size=2> TheOneRing.net – where everybody knows your name! <br>
        And J.R.R. Tolkien’s middle names… and the name of his publisher’s son … and the name of Aragorn’s
        great-great-great- grandfather on his mother’s side… and what Frodo’s name almost was…
    </td>
    <br>
  </table>
</tr>
<br>
<center>
  $113.11
</center>

The font tag isn't closed, the table is closed before the row tag (that's probably the main culprit), and I don't know why the $113.11 is in there at all.

I know! It's the next "Lost" number! [In reply to] Can't Post

4,8,15,16,23,42,113!

Consider this:

The sum of the first 6 numbers is 108.
Now, if you take the sum of the individual digits, you get 36, and 3 + 6 = 9.
Divide 113 by 9, and you get 12, with the remainder 5.
And 108 + 5 = 113.

The "." is not a decimal point; it's there to separate the two numbers, 113 and 11.
It means to expect this next number to be revealed in 11 days from when this first appeared: a week from Wednesday.

And the "$" means Aerlinn was paid to reveal this secret to us, and us alone! Bwahahah!
