“Prometheus” Kills del Toro’s Vision Can't Post

As many of you are fans of Guillermo del Toro or became fans because of his involvement with The Hobbit, and continue to look forward to his work with At The Mountains of Madness, I thought I'd post a link to this interesting article that is probably a disappointment to many.

I'm more of a fan of the likes of Ridley Scott than del Toro. Although I enjoyed Hellboy and so forth, given the choice, I prefer something closer to realistic than fantastical. I guess that puts my appreciation for The Hobbit more in line with Peter Jackson's sensibilities from The Lord of the Rings than what I imagine might have been del Toro's vision. So given the choice, I'd choose to make Prometheus from the Alien landscape, but I'd rather have both films.
