Greetings and salutations, TORnfolk, and welcome to another installment of SFTH. Today's game was suggested by everyone's favorite modern day Ent. You know him, you love him, you'd go out on a "limb" for him, let's give it up for Darkstone! Besides Radagast and his sled pulled by hares, who else had unique methods of transportation? (Galadriel and her litter carried by the winner and three runner-ups to the Mr. Lothlorien Bodybuilding Pageant.)
And suddenly the Tornadoes saw afar off a greenlight, as it were a cloud with a living heart of flame; and they knew that this was no vision only, but that PJ had made a new thing: The Hobbit, the Film that Is.

obviously traveled by his own peculiar root... I mean route... I mean... (WARNING: some people in the north eastern states of the US may not get the pun. So sorry)
The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.

While Treebeard and the Ents went to Isengard in a Fury.
****************************************** The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.”

''Sam put his ragged orc-cloak under his master's head, and covered them both with the grey robe of Lorien; and as he did so his thoughts went out to that fair land, and to the Elves, and he hoped that the cloth woven by their hands might have some virtue to keep them hidden beyond all hope in this wilderness of fear...But their luck held, and for the rest of that day they met no living or moving thing; and when night fell they vanished into the darkess of Mordor.'' - - -rotk, chapter III Faerie contains many things besides elves and fays and besides dwarfs, witches, trolls, giants or dragons; it holds the seas, the sun, the moon, the sky; and the earth, and all things that are one in it: tree and bird, water and stone, wine and bread, and ourselves, mortal men, when we are enchanted." — J.R.R.
