If Radagast does look like this, I'll love this movie no matter what!

For those TL;DR types... Negatives: -48fps looks too weird for some people to get used to. Positives: -the actual footage content I'll live with that. Sorry, but I just don't care about the tech aspects at this point anymore.

The hobbit is consideres as a fary tale. But PJ told that he wanted to rely the Hobbit with the Lord of the Ring. There has been a lot of debats among the last months, about if trolls, birds and animals should be talking or not or if the tons of the movie should be "darker" or more serious that the book is actually. There has been so much controversial debats about this, that i can't understand why add fary tales elements that arent int the original book at all.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. "More noticeable in the footage was the make-up, the sets, the costumes. Hobbiton and Middle Earth didn’t feel like a different universe, it felt like a special effect, a film set with actors in costumes. It looked like behind the scenes footage."

I'm still not concerned myself about that. Why? Cause i simply will NOT see this movie in 48fps. At least i'm not interested. Maybe at the SDCC. Who knows.

I've been worried about this to, hopefully they'll be able to make it 'smoother' with post-production. More cinematic, but still sharp and clear.

Maybe PJ should have made two demos? One at 24fps for the movie itself, and another at 48fps to show off the landscapes and technology but without actors or sets involved?

From the AICN report: "The most upfront benefit I felt was in landscape and action sequences, where surprisingly intricate detail was easily absorbed, even in a very, very wide shot. I was drawing in more visual information than my brain was used to processing." Oh god, if my brain is going to have to evolve first before I can watch this film properly...
