from the article Namarie linked.... wow that -is- very rough!..... hmmmm that gives me some hope that with extra editing (OME they'll have a lot of editing to do by the looks of it!), things will look better maybe??? jumping to conclusions FTW!!

that this was shown, and wasn't appreciated. Was it a rush? Could they have waited to an audience that would have appreciated what they were seeing more? I think the footage sounds great. Bunnies pulling a sled?! Who knows, it could work!

This reaction reads a big "give it a break" all over. I think mostly everyone is posting their reactions without giving a second look, or chance.

Instead of complaining, at least the author explains the context of the scenes and what PJ had to say at the beginning.

Concerning all the 48 frame stuff, I must admit that I dont really care. I think people have to get used to this nee technology. If its really bad, we will have opportunity to see the movie in the old 24 frames ( DVD, blue-ray etc..) Concerning the content - Legolas threathening dwarves doest seems bad to me. If I remember well, in the book, dwarves are being captured by some elves, Legolas could have been one of them. - ringswraith tomb could be a good idea to explain the "growing darkness" stuff near Dol Guldur. I just hope the ringwraith arent nammed in the movie, and that's a deduction of viewers - I dont understand the dwarves helping Bilbo thing. In the book, doesnt Bilbo come to the troll after the dwarves ? - Finally, i'm dissapointed with Radagast comic relief, but i was expecting that since Aint it cool report ( Sorry for the bad english :-) I'm from Switzerland :-) )

What is bunnies pulling a sled to you? That's the kind of childish stuff i expect in Narnia. Similar things were present in the book but i had hoped he would leave such stuff out and make it more in line with LOTR, more realistic.

So, it's accurate to the book, at least that is. Yes, the Elves capture the Dwarves after the spider episode.

*facepalm* for some reason I had an image of the Ringwraiths gathering in a dark (Amon Sul-esque lit) graveyard full of twisted gravetones and crosses..... Then I realised..... Christian cemetries didn't exist then LOL...... silly me. In which case they may be a bit like the Barrows of the Barrow wights maybe?? which escaped our screens in FotR?

I remember that! Did any of us believe you (I can't remember ) It sounds like a good idea (in practice anyway). You know, Tolkien never wrote anything of Gandalf's adventures and Dol Guldur - I'm up for Jackson's interpretation. But tomb's? Does it imply Sauron was keeping the Ringwraiths locked up until they were "ready"?

bunnies or hares or whatever pulling a sled without having seen it myself alright. You just can't make that look not silly and something that belongs into a fairy tale for children. Sorry i'm so bummed right now, i need alcohol. Nah, joking about the alcohol. But bummed i am.

They said some green screens were visible. The rabbits are probably just cheap alternatives to the horses that they'll put in digitally later.

Thanks for the explanation, i havent read the hobbit for long, and I have no time to read it until July :-(. According to this short description of Trollshaw and the shots in the trailer (Gandalf appearing on the hill), it seems that PJ respect more-or less, the book there, exept he sends the dwarves together and added a battle
