"Far Over the Misty Mountains" song adaptation

Hi folks-- Here is my adaptation of "Far over the Misty Mountains Cold", set to a simplified version of the tune from Don McLean's theme song to "Flight of Dragons". I had to drop some phrases from the poem here and there to get it to fit the melody. Pictures in the video are of some Inca ruins in Peru, which when you think about it makes sense since Pizarro did pretty much the same thing to the Incas that Smaug did to the dwarves-- killed them, stole all their gold and moved into their palace. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1ybb3ECIYM

I'm not familiar with Flight of the Dragons, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but you've definitely captured the essence of a minstrel.

My wife told me the reverb was too high so I re-mixed it and posted a new version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP-plFwzq78 Hopefully I still sound like a minstrel but not like a minstrel at the bottom of a swimming pool.

I'd never thought of that before, how the conquistadors were "dragons" to the Incas. What sadness in the ruins! Your rendition fits perfectly. Thank you!
