I can't imagine Saruman will appear at DG - simply because of C. Lee. I think all the scenes he will be in are at the council itself - no theatrics. Wasn't a character called Elros cast? Maybe he accompanies Gandalf?

But just cannot see it happening. I did joke about a year ago that maybe they will have Lee's head/face on someone else's body (or CGI). It could work? Especially with all the advancement since the trilogy. No? Yes? Hmmmm

This is one of the most intriguing aspects of the film for me. I'm fascinated to see what the film makers come up with. It will be exciting to see the mythology of Middle Earth expand before our eyes.
