What's your ringtone?

I feel like with this poll I'm stepping from the sublime (Silneldor's poll about faith and Elenor's about Tolkien and religion) to the ridiculous. Forgive me. But...What is your ringtone??? You can choose multiple answers if you have different tones for different callers. Be as general or specific as you care to be. (Specific is more fun)

I'm not (too) superstitious, I just love the sound of that song - so cool! On previous phones I always had the theme to "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" as my standard tone. I always felt like the mother ship was calling me home

The default ringtone sounds like, um, a telephone ringing. But I have various classical pieces for various individuals: * Husband: Vivaldi 'Spring' from the Four Seasons * #1 daughter: "The arrival of the Queen of the Sheba" (Handel) -- you have to know her to appreciate * #2 daughter: "Overture to the Magic Flute" (her daughter's favorite opera) * Son: "Ride of the Valkyries" (Wagner) * Everyone from my church: "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (Bach) * Everyone from my chorus: "Ode to Joy" (Beethoven) because we used to sing that every year.

and too lazy to look for a freebie somewhere, so it's the generic one assigned to the phone, though I rather dislike it. It's also an ancient clamshell phone an not one of the fancy-schmancy do-everything phones.

on my mobile. Andy Cutting's 'Uphill Way' - a folk piece which always makes me feel cheerful. At home, I have two of those cordless phone handset thingys. My parents have the standard ringtone, and mine is Pachelbel's canon - the only classical one that sounds halfway decent in that awful synthy tone.

It is not a classical, or LOTR, or another tv/movie or popular music.....I'm huge, huge Oakland Raiders fan, so I have the Oakland Raiders theme song as my ring tone, The Autumn Wind....

1) default 2) doctors *sigh* 3) family - all live hundreds of miles away the tones are various chimes and bells. Any hints for a user issue? I keep silencing my phone for church and forgetting to turn it back on.

and tell them to create a timer "off" so that you can put it "off" for, say, an hour and a half and then it automatically goes back on? I have a basic el-cheapo phone so I don't know if the fancy-schmancy phones have this or not, but it'd be a cool idea for folks who would forget such things - like me!

because even when I silence the phone, i.e., turn the sound all the way down or mute, it still rings the preset alarms. My dumb and smart phones - all Verizon - all have this problem I use presets as medication reminders and so don't want to clear and reset daily

i'd punt my cellphone into the ocean. I loathe how I can be contacted any minute of the day by phone or text, so I don't want any pieces of music I adore attatched to such a device. I just use some goofy sound effect that came loaded with the phone. I hate to sound like a curmudgeon....just don't like cell phones.

My girlfriend plays "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies; her choice. Sister: Paul McCartney "Take It Away" Nashville friends: The Samples "Lear Jet" Baseball teammates: Black Crowes "No Speak No Slave"

Ode to Joy brings back fond memories of Krakow, Poland. I was there when Poland joined the EU, more specifically, I was in the Main Square the day before the big celebration. It was a beautiful spring day and the choir was rehearsing Ode to Joy. As it was a rehearsal, they sang all the tricky bits, all the best bits, over and over. It brought tears to my eyes!
