Just for fun; Meet the stunt doubles! Can't Post

These people are almost always overlooked, so I thought "Why not?". Also thought it would be fun to see if they have any physical resemblance to the actors:

Bronson Steele - Bombur:

Mana Davis - Thorin:
http://stuntguildnz.com/mana-davis/

Peter Dillon - Balin:

Sean Button - Kili:

Winham Hammond - Dwalin:

Allan Smith:
http://stuntguildnz.com/allan-smith/

David J.Muzzerall - Ori:
http://stuntguildnz.com/david-j-muzzerall/

Isaac Hamon - Oin:
http://stuntguildnz.com/isaac-hamon/

Vincent Roxburgh - Bofur:
http://stuntguildnz.com/vincent-roxburgh/

Tony Marsh - Gloin:
http://stuntguildnz.com/tony-marsh/

Scott Chiplin - Bifur:
http://stuntguildnz.com/scott-chiplin/

Jeremy Hollis - Dori:

There's no stunt double listed for Fili though.

What in Eru's name is happening with Vincent Roxburgh's eyebrows? [In reply to] Can't Post

Shocked Shouldn't he be Nori's stunt guy, if he's gonna go with the "braided eyebrow" look? Shocked

My Top 5 Wish List for "The Hobbit"
5. Legolas will surf down Smaug's neck
4. Bilbo will be revealed to a Robot
3. Naked PJ cameo as Ghan-Buri-Ghan
2. Use not only 3D, but smell-o-vision, with axes coming out of the seats and poking the audience when appropriate
1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!

Hail the stunt doubles! [In reply to] Can't Post

Great to see their faces, doubles are usually very underrated even though they risk their lives just for our entertainment. Hopefully nothing too bad will happen to them during the shootings. Smile

RE: Sinister71 [In reply to] Can't Post

I would say that the Studios would forbid Brophy doing any of the more dangerous stunts - they wouldn't want production to stop if anything 'untoward' happened.

but in LOTR [In reply to] Can't Post

he was many orcs and did do stunts so it wouldn't be so far fetched that he was doing his own stunts in the Hobbit.... i only figured since he did them in LOTR he would the hobbit as well I stand corrected. Wink I guess he is major cast but hell Tom Cruise does his own stunts now LOL

well [In reply to] Can't Post

he did just do all that hanging off a skyscraper 25 stories up on the side of the glass building with nothing but a safety harness for MI: Ghost protocol. just watched a behind the scenes video from the cast and crew about it. Cruise actually insisted about doing 90 percent of his own stunts in the film
