.....was on TVNZ1 this morning. Obviously he couldn't say much about his role but he said he has already done 8 weeks in the studio, he is now about to do 2 weeks on location and expects to be back later for a few more days.

am I the only one suprised that his role needs so much time to shoot? And even more so, that he also will be ''on location''? Anyway, ty for the news Moahunter.

Maybe I'm just lucky?
"There is a long road yet," said Gandalf. "But it is the last road," said Bilbo.

one of the LotR touches missing from LotR that I'm very content to be having the chance to see in The Hobbit. I never watched Dr. Who, but he looks like he will be perfect for who I envision Radagast to be.

This is in the TVNZ On Demand FAQs. "As you are required to be in New Zealand to view most content on TVNZ Ondemand, you may be having problems viewing our video due to a security setting which uses your computers timezone to determine your location."

He is very funny. I wonder if we'll see an homage to his playing the spoons in The Hobbit

...is that he's likely to be involved in the attack on Dol Guldur - maybe the location filming is of the journey through Mirkwood to the fortress...?

I got an 'unable to view outside NZ' message, but I waited for a few seconds and the video started anyway. I have to say, I had to chuckle at the presenter's 'Razzagast'. There will be a whole new flotilla of 'unpronounceable' names that people unfamiliar with Tolkien will have to get used to.

He seems like the pinnacle grandfather... The kind that will spoil the kids and have their complete adoration... I laughed throughout the whole interview.. very endearing fellow..
