Dwalin - the ultimate bad***?

Very little has been said/speculated about Dwalin so far... he's of royal kin, Balin's brother and the successor to Thorin's throne in the Blue mountains. Graham McTavish is previously known for his roles in action movies, and is very athletically built, so maybe he will be some kind of "action dwarf", specializied in weapons and combat (he was featured in some kind of battle sequence in the first video log, right?)? Do you believe he will get a lot of screen time, or just be one of the dwarves "in the background"?
Now now Bill, you swore this was a battle between warriors, not a bunch of miss nancies, so warriors is what I brought

I think he'll be tough-talking, no-nonsense and practical...

Considering that the dwarf to the left of Thorin in the Empire pic is most certainly Dwalin, to me he has the look of someone who fits the description in the subject of this post! He looks sturdy and strong, and looks as if he has a significant beard (though not a long one, which suggests to me he is a practical fellow!). If I was to hazard a guess at what his weapon would be, I would say a heavy, two-handed sword or axe. As far as screentime goes, I think he'll fit into the bracket below Thorin, Balin, Kili and Fili.

The dude is definitely a tough *bleep*. You don't cast a guy like that and have him mosey around in the background.
