Stairway to Heaven all the time on his guitar. Now he has forgotten some of it. I haven't actually heard the song all the way through (played by LZ). The front is cool though. We were talking the other day and my dad said he had a friend in High School that was a Zep fan. He said he's heard every song that they put out because of that buddy.

I've gotten over my drinking stage a long time ago and don't feel it appropriate to raising my son and besides, I don't NEED an excuse to be me! hehe Not to say I don't drink, but it's increasingly rare and always for the taste as I've not been drunk since long before my son was born (some 9 years or more now). Stereotypes have their seed of truth, true, but it's still unfair to those whom it does not apply. Good for you for having the strength of conviction, whatever its source.

Apparently I mis-interpreted when you commented on them allowing School of Rock to use a song of theirs. I'm still torn whether to be excited or disappointed when Cadillac's Escalade used part of "Rock and Roll" to advertise. Usually excitement wins, which means the advertisers were right. <laughs>

Of beer and the likes. I do have a drink once or twice a year but it's very rare. I'm much like yourself, i don't want/need alchol to have a good time.. not that i'm anti-drink. I'm out with my friends in bars and what not, it's just a personal taste thing

the screen has a huge crack in it, and I can't really see anything on it, but the computer itself works just fine. I've currently got it hooked up to a monitor at my internship, so I'm typing on my laptop, but looking at another computer screen. I've also found a company that will fix it in a couple of days, so that was really great to hear about.

in my not-so-humble opinion from the soundtrack to their movie "The Song Remains the Same". Plant's vocal operatics, especially at the end are SOO worth it!

Kind of scary how that works, actually! But I feel much better now with my new phone, and the laptop can get fixed in a couple of days, I think, so that's a relief to hear. Still, it was not pleasant at the time!

I hate to sound pretentious but here we go :) To me it's hard to describe the awesomeness that is Stairway. I think it's more than just a song. It's so close to perfect as a song gets that i personally think its closer to a masterpiece that just a song. I mean I listen to it and I think - nothing comes close to that. I get the same feeling about bohemian rhapsody by queen. I think they are songs that are in some way separate to the bands that created them, they are just really special things... Pretentious speech over :)

I think that's what a lot of bands are missing. They have strum patterns and skill. "Skills" and "gifts" have to come together to make a masterpiece.

Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of bands. I mean love them, would listen to them all the time, but not many of them will have a masterpiece in them. Some music is just for fun or whatever...
