The trip was a blast and we waved to you (and others along the way) as we drove. I'm SOOO glad he's a MOST EXCELLENT traveller as I drove 14 hour days to cut the trip to 2 days each way!

Glad THAT one never happened to me! I was saddened to hear of such a rural area as yours having such activity as I'd hoped such places avoided that sort of thing, but now that it's happened, here's hoping they choose other activities in the future!

But it's awesome! I carry the complete works of Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen, AND Conan Doyle with me every day! LOL
Goodreads and LibraryThing, etc. are websites where you list the books you're reading and post reviews and that kind of stuff. It's another outlet, like blogging, for us closet egotists who like to hear ourselves talk.

They all hit milestones at the same time, it was pretty interesting! Hope you are doing well on the job front, also -- we thought my kid would never get work, so it's a huge relief, even if it's just a 2 day apprentice job, it's a job! He's paying Taxes! I'm so proud!

my plans aren't, well, very planned yet. My family is coming to visit me, but we don't know what we're going to do yet. Unfortunately they'll be leaving before the fireworks (something about not wanting to drive 4 hours home after them and go to work the next day  )

Kind of makes me wish for the days when I could dole out hugs and bandaids...now it's proofing resumes and filling out all those college forms. Very hard for my deer-in-the-headlights brain, which doesn't do well with math or all those little boxes!
