Very cool. [In reply to] Can't Post

The beard looks a little more realistic and bushy this time around, even though his arm is hiding the end portion of it. Love the quotes.

Love this.SOOOOO excited over 9000 !. [In reply to] Can't Post

I’m just telling the story.” The only difference is that this time he has a bunch of snarky dwarves to corral. "“They don’t know what to make of Gandalf, they think Bilbo is a wuss, and Elrond a prissy headmaster type,” laughs Jackson
Looks like hirlarious moments with Dwarves will ensue.HAHAHA they think Bilbo is a wuss. That captures the very essence of the book LMFAO!.
THere is going to be some fun conflict betweent he dwarves this time round YAHOOOO!Cool

I'm excited too, but .. [In reply to] Can't Post

You're scaring me a bit.

Pictures look good, same as before though, save for Gandalf being in Bag-end. Either way, all good stuff. Even if it is getting frustrating seeing all these pictures and knowing there's a year and a half until the movie comes out (which means, it'll probably be a year until a real teaser). But, time flies.

I think this proves… [In reply to] Can't Post

That the pictures of Bilbo are composite photos—the dwarves look exactly the same. And man, when are we going to get pictures of Thorin and company?

But I like this photo of Bilbo a lot; it's fantastic, and Gandalf looks great, as usual.

It seems to me that... [In reply to] Can't Post

... Martin Freeman's been photoshopped into that image of the Dwarves in Bag End.

Also, the youngish looking Dwarf on the extreme right is most probably Aidan Turner (Kili).

I do wish these Dwarves had longer beards... after all, aren't they from the line of the Longbeards?

I assume "Ouch" is a bad thing?

I think you may have stumbled onto something though. The dwarves are in fact, Dothraki.

what appears to be Photoshop(tm)ed may instead be the layering effect of 3D. Our eyes are getting better at breaking down what used to make 3D seem seamless.

To me (and I'm good with faces) it looks like this... [In reply to] Can't Post

From left to right: Dwalin, Gloin, Nori, Thorin, Bifur, Bofur.

Only in this enhanced image does 'Bofur' look like James Nesbitt. And it appears to me that he's going to have a glass/wooden eye!

No more dwarf pictures [In reply to] Can't Post

I have my magazine now and it just has the same three pictures that we've seen online.

There is some interesting stuff about the way Jackson has enjoyed delineating the different dwarves from each other, developing raucous personalities and outlandish (but practical) looks for 13 cantankerous elf-haters. They don't know what to make of Gandalf, think Bilbo is a wuss and Elrond a prissy headmaster. Graham McTavish calls them Middle-earth's Dirty Baker's Dozen, stomping and squabbling about the set.

Empire thinks that there is an air of anarchic joy of a early Jackson film and they are being more humorous than LotR. They also comment that Armitage especially exudes a steely conviction; there are hints here of the intensity Viggo Mortensen lent to Aragorn.

If you look closely [In reply to] Can't Post

dwarf on far left has Mohawk with beard.....and the one on far right has some a 'far-easterlings' kind of hat on. Almost looks similar to a hat worn by one of the baddies in the bar fight scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Just interesting to see how different they all look. Almost looks like their clothing represents dwarf age, status, origin, etc.
