Eowyn vs Elizabeth Swann/Turner Can't Post

Okay, I admire both girls for their tomboyishness and bravery, and the fact that they're both smart blondes
but, in a battle, which girl would win?

Not that Elizabeth doesn't have spirit, but I think Eowyn has more sword training.

Elizabeth is kind of lame... IMHO Evil

I'm just going to give this to Elizabeth Swann [In reply to] Can't Post

just because Eowyn was always one of my least favorite LotR characters. The older I grew I began to like her more--just like Bombadil!--but I loved Elizabeth from the beginning.

In a fight though, I expect Eowyn would win, because she probably learned how to fight growing up from her brother.

Eowyn... [In reply to] Can't Post

I've always loved both characters and both have good fighting ability. But Eowyn killed the witch king, I don't think Elizabeth could have done that.

All you have to decide is what to do with the time that has been given to you...

Yes ... [In reply to] Can't Post

Witch King on the main deck, by Elizabeth Swann, with a boarding axe.

Sounds like a game of Pirate Clue, doesn't it? Sly

Now there's a game I'd happily buy. :D / [In reply to] Can't Post

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

Eowyn [In reply to] Can't Post

So your asking who whould win in a battle between A rich English lady vs. the slayer of the witch king. I really don’t think there’s much debate.

Jonathan the Elf (fan)

“How shall a man judge what to do in such times? Yea ask. As he ever has judged, good and ill have not changed since yesteryear; nor are they one thing among Elves and Dwarves and another thing among . It is a man’s part to discern them, as much as in the Golden woods an in his own house” said Aragorn

Éowyn [In reply to] Can't Post

She's a legimate badass grown up in a warrior culture inhabitating the war-ridden world of Middle-Earth. Elizabeth... I don't know if there's any nice way to say this, but I just don't either like or respect her that much. She's a tomboy all right, but that doesn't make her cabable fighter or leader.

Plus, I think we should have buried Tolkien in a larger coffin, he probably cant turn very well in his. -Rossmonster
