Even though I often have images turned off to speed up my browser. And, yes, I'm way too competitive on clue games, so I'm pretty good at them, too.
And suddenly the Tornadoes saw afar off a greenlight, as it were a cloud with a living heart of flame; and they knew that this was no vision only, but that PJ had made a new thing: The Hobbit, the Film that Is.

No. 1 especially, it is someone who posts on the Hobbit Movie board quite a bit, isn't it? No. 3 is Starling.

Sir Dennis has changed his avatar since. In that case, I'm pretty sure no. 2 of the previous set was one of EowynofPennsWoods' avatars. No. 2 used to be the admin powered by tetosterone (Hengist), and no. 3 is AinurOlorin.

good eye Macfalk! Though a completely different kind of story, I enjoyed Arn: The Knight Templar as much as I did that other Swedish movie about a knight, The Seventh Seal. (Come to think of it I've never seen a movie from Sweden I didn't like.)

when you mentioned me switching avatars, and that it messed up your plans, I thought it might be for something like this. I was thrilled to see old Godfrey de Ibelin included anyway... it helps having friends in high places after all

I'm telling you right now... I'm going to go look around a bit for a few of these. Not that I don't care or don't enjoy everyone's avatars... but I sit there and go.. "ooooo! oooo! I know this one!" I will admit the clues really, really help :D So.... here goes... 1. wups... first one... no luck. Sorry Avatar owner! 2. ElanorTX 3. CuriousG
I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
