**Countdown to Founders Day -- Nine Ladies (and gentlemen and hobbits and...) Dancing!**

Hello Mooters! It's time to get your dancing shoes ready for TORn's 12th Anniversary celebration, coming up on April 26, the day we mark the founding (more or less!) of TORn on this site. Our countdown to the big day is based on a 12 Days of Christmas parody, in honor of TORn's 12th year. Today, here are nine images involving dancing that were gleaned from TORn's scrapbook....can you identify when, where, who or how for any of these? 1. Ring around the Rosie? 2. I didn't know Ents could polka! 3. There's always some guys who decide to dance on the tables... 4. I don't know who this is, I just know I could not pull off this move especially not in leather pants! 5. And this is how you do the springle ringle... 6. Line dance! 7. Dancing under the stars? 8. Dancing with a star? 9. There are some famous dancers in this shot -- can you spot them? Sorry for the small images on some of these! Larger versions of all of these, and more dancing photos, can be found here: Dancing the night away! And now, I must go off and find my ball gown and ruby slippers for the big day on April 26 -- see you at Founders Day, our annual Virtual Moot!

In some cases, it tells you what event they are from, but people are only identified in a few. And you can avoid reading the captions pretty easily so you can view the photos without being "spoiled". I saved the images from the scrapbook thumbnail page -- d'oh -- and didn't have time to go back and save bigger versions. You'd think I know that by now, but actually, it's probably not a surprise that I don't!

Look how far you've come, Tech Princess!
And suddenly the Tornadoes saw afar off a greenlight, as it were a cloud with a living heart of flame; and they knew that this was no vision only, but that PJ had made a new thing: The Hobbit, the Film that Is.

are from the movies... or from behind the scene shots of the movies. 3 is Merry and Pippin at the Green Dragon. 7. The Long Expected Party 6. One of those looks like Calisuri. But I have no clue from what event. 8. I think one of these is eEither Lawrence Makoare or Sala Baker. I don't know if I can tell them apart easily and surely not from that picture. 5. Looks a lot like my friend Mark from English Country Dancing. I don't think there's any chance he ended up in TORn's Scrapbook. The rest are either unfamilar to me or too small to discern anything. I even dowloaded them and blew them up to no avail.

Partly, a matter of no time and partly a matter of needing to remember what I learned that I've forgotten! But photos in posts, yes, I amaze myself there! Now, if I could only figure out how to work my Blu-Ray player, well life would be good!

The caption said "Jed" and I'm afraid the only connection I made was "Clampett"! He's got great flexibility, can dance, and looks good in leather...now that is what I call a nice combination...(oops...did I say that outloud?)

Just checked the scrapbook under "g" -- no, no dancing grammas there..! Maybe we can snap a shot of her dancing at Founders Day, since she's our Party Organizer this year!

#8 is Lawrence Makoare. And it looks like he's in leather! Very nice!!! In shot #9, supposedly John Noble and Sarah McLeod (sp?) are in the line up, and maybe Andy Serkis? I thought I spotted John N on the left... I have no clue on the others and the captions don't really tell you much...!

I didn't recognize Jed Brophy, but somehow I knew that was our famous TORn Ent! Don't ask me how, I've never met either gentleman, but they both are obviously right at home on the singing or dancing floor!
