Well the first day of filming is finally here. Let's all wish PJ, the cast, and crew luck on what is sure to be another amazing filmmaking journey. It's hard to believe that this is really happening, but it finally is and I cannot wait. December 2012/2013 will surely be a magical return to Middle-Earth. Thank you to everyone involved!

Sorry, english is not my first language. 
They mention a photo of Jackson stepping through the front door of Bag End in the article, where is it?
Also, some new actors got announced apparently:
Yesterday Warner Bros named Kiwi actors Jeffrey Thomas and Mike Mizrahi for the roles of dwarf kings Thror and Thrain.
