It is a delight for me to see this. [In reply to] Can't Post

I have always loved your thoughts concerning spiritual/philosophical matters. I just wish you could share more and not less as time passes by. I do value it.

But i will also take delight in your continuance to 'Follow your Bliss'. You did very well and i am happy for you.

''Sam put his ragged orc-cloak under his master's head, and covered them both with the grey robe of Lorien; and as he did so his thoughts went out to that fair land, and to the Elves, and he hoped that the cloth woven by their hands might have some virtue to keep them hidden beyond all hope in this wilderness of fear...But their luck held, and for the rest of that day they met no living or moving thing; and when night fell they vanished into the darkess of Mordor.'' - - -rotk, chapter III

May the grace of Manwë let us soar with eagle's wings!

In the air, among the clouds in the sky
Here is where the birds of Manwe fly
Looking at the land, and the water that flows
The true beauty of earth shows
With the stars of Varda lighting my way
In all the realms this is where I stay

ON ANOTHER NOTE, there is a birthday in the family. [In reply to] Can't Post

Master sil, or strider if you will, will be 14 years of age tomorrow. Many of you know him. My wife and i as parents feel very fortunate to have a son that is very outgoing, gentle, kind, and of high moral value.

Please forgive the reminiscences of a father but i remember the nights i stayed in the hospital in that chair due to the a very difficult birth of my wife's first pregnancy and the beautiful 1st sight of my son arising from the C-section. I remember talking to him right after that under the french fry/small fry(infant) warming light all wrapped up like a mummy with that little beanie on. As parents yourselves as many of you are, can understand such blissful moments that will be indelible until we pass over that sea.

An older photo and the two latest photos of him, if you will indulge me, are a time early on upon finding our Anom Hen at age 7, and then from the project he helped me with to cut, split, move, load, unload, move to the back; many boat loads of wood such as this to the camp from another area up the pond. And the other one is from him winning the fun run at the high school where anyone in the town could participate up to eight grade. It was a gas because there was host of cheerleaders and band members celebrating all finishers at the end.

Thank you.

Greetings, dear! I was so hoping you might be one of the 'oldies' to drop by. The bar is always open for you, my friend (don't tell anyone, but it's usually open all weekend after Fiesta, too - just untended - oops, I probably shouldn't have said that). Laugh

I do hope RL is being especially good to you and selfishly hope that you can carve out a bit of your time to visit us more often. You're missed. Smile

*Bows to the original Fiesta bartender* Welcome back Aelric! [In reply to] Can't Post

*points to plaque of honor over the bar* Oops! *hastily replaces pic of Aelric with plaque of honor* Someone 'accidentally' hung that pic of your embarassing incident involving a broken beer-spraying keg and several soaked elf maidens ... (*cough* family board Wink).

Yes, the keys to the bar have lovingly been handed down from you to Inferno, to Nimrodel and now to me and my trusty substitute barkeeps: gramma, Eventides and dernwyn. So the tradition definitely lives on!

It's so nice to see you in the Fiesta bar again, as well an anywhere around the boards.
