A list of the birthdays of PJ etc, plus the LOTR actors? Can't Post

Do we have that somewhere on TORn???
I'm pretty sure someone must have already compiled that and posted it for everyone's benefit!
But I have no idea where to find it...
Actually I came here vaguely remembering PJ's birthday to be on Halloween, and so, expecting a whole thread here about that, but... nothing!!!
Please somebody enlighten me?...

I have no clue about the actors ..... [In reply to] Can't Post

but PJ's birthday is October 31st. Recent Hobbit discussions mentioned that the film staying in New Zealand was a great birthday present for PJ.

She has a TORn birthday calendar-link in her footer. In it are a lot of TORn-members birthdays but also all the stars.

It's already the 31st here. :-)

Things are so much brighter than they were recently, and I hope the Jackson family have a wonderful celebration.

I hope you're having a more relaxed, joyful birthday than what it almost could have been! Thank you for your perseverence and devotion! Because of you, Philippa, Fran, Richard, the Techs and everyone who stepped up and challenged the horrible threat for The Hobbit films, we have a wonderful celebration for you today :)

Have a great day, dear Sir. And thanks so much for everything!!

And while on the birthday subject, Happy Birthday Sir PJ! [In reply to] Can't Post

To Sir Peter Jackson,
A very happy birthday to the man who brought me into my Tolkien fandom. Thank you for making the most amazing movies, and I can't wait to see you do it again with The Hobbit!

To mae govannen, thanks for posting this thread, I was also wondering if there was a list of the birthdays.

Celebrating LOTR actors' birthdays: [In reply to] Can't Post

Well, perhaps I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that when it was on Main, celebrating those birthdays was a more joyous affair, brought together more of us... and was not as easy to forget about!!! Blush
Just this week, I missed already my beloved Viggo, and I very nearly missed PJ himself today!... Awful.
Shame on me, I agree...
But still, what a somewhat remote place to celebrate those people who are so linked with the LOTR movies and for many of us have become more or less identical with the character they embodied!
Today, only 7 posts for PJ, for Viggo only 9, that doesn't feel right. I'm sure quite a few other T0Rnsibs have simply missed the date, and will be sorry when they realize it.
Wouldn't it be possible to shift this back to Main, which is more frequented on a daily basis?
What do you all think?

Oh yes, a happy birthday! [In reply to] Can't Post

It's still the 31st in Hawaii, so I'm not late in one part of the world XD

What a present for him, to have the Hobbit greenlit, several actors announced, and the films staying officially in NZ, all two weeks before his big day! Very nice present, to say the least. Let's hope the October of next year is less stressful for him, though :)

I'll be sure.. [In reply to] Can't Post

to put that list on a sticky and tack it on my wall, Gramma! (It'll join the list of U2 band members and their familes...as well as the main members of Del Toro's team...(Guillermo's was Oct 9 BTW--
Oh and U2's Larry Mullen was on Haloween too!)

To the list I add:

Happy Birthday, Sir Peter.
It seems that it is indeed the will of Eru Iluvatar that you take up again the Director's staff in your beloved Middle-earth (NZ). Once, you added a note of surpassing and imperishable Beauty to the Davine Music with the LOTR Trilogy; to you it has again fallen the task of creating yet another Note. The Music is unceasing and ever-changing; but in the end all things come together in sweetest harmony.

After the years of struggle and all the anguish and heartbreak, you hsve finally been vindicated--, "the Shadow" has indeed passed, and the Star shines brightly over the hills tonight. May you enjoy these days of awakening and renewed hope, and take strength from the good wishes from around the world.

To you has been entrusted another chapter of a sacred Legacy. Our hopes go with you. Take this time to rest from your labors, and be blessed.
