Seeing as I am the Tolkien geek in my family, and also the only baker, I never get a cool cake like this! Unless I made my own birthday cake of course... or is that a bit lame?

Again I couldn't bring myself to eating it. This cake is just gorgeous 
I especially love the leaves and the Ring with the tengwar surrounding it

It looks so much like Bag End. Great job!!
The ring on the top of the cake looks better than some real gold ones made to look like The One Ring. It's really amazing! The colors are like spot on too.
All I have to say is "wow".

I'm pretty sure I would still eat it though... but not before taking a lot of pictures and admiring/staring at it for a good long time. If she spent so much time on decorating and carving the cake, she must have spent the time to make it delicious as well
