Hello everyone!
This is my first post on a LOTR forum. 
Please post pictures of LOTR related stuff you have made on Photo shop or GIMP.
I'm interested in seeing some other creative computerized fan art! 
This picture I made by pasting 8 pictures together then blurring, smudging, airbrushing, and dodge/burning them together. Please give me some honest feedback on what you think about it. Tell me if the ring looks out of proportion or if the different texture fire makes it look weird. I'm asking for *honest* advice so I won't be mad if you say it looks really bad for some reason.  I want to make it as good as I can!

Well the fire around the blade and the sword handle look a bit smudgy - but overall it looks good.

I agree that the middle of the sword blade looks slightly smudgy but, I think it adds to the overall effect! Very nicely done.
I'm the Geek the comic strip refers to.

a couple observations:
- the ring seems to flare out a bit on the right side
- the water drops beneath the ring seem a bit out of place, I'm not sure what they're doing there

I love the colour and texture - especially with the blue flames and with Sting. Picking up on what Oiotári said - the ring does flare out a bit on the right side, but I honestly didn't notice it until I focused on it.
