**FD: A much too hasty Thank You to the Founders Day Team from weaver & gramma! Can't Post

We'll be posting a complete set of "credits" at Fiesta Friday to thank everyone who helped us plan and pull off this year's Founders Day Activities. But for now, we'd just like to acknowlede the Founders Day Committee as a group for an incredible second annual event! *applauds one and all!!*

However... this isn't the end of the party! There's more to come!! We've got one more surprise up our sleeves between now and Fiesta, some virtual doorprizes to award then, and a great closing party at Barliman's this weekend. So enjoy yourselves and join us at Fiesta Friday to see if you won... and to find out who brough you all the fun this year :)

Cheers for now! Go back to the party! And THANK YOU Founders Day Committee!

Most sincerely,

weaver (Founders Day Chair) and grammaboodawg (co-chair)

More to come? Wow! [In reply to] Can't Post

It just goes to show you what happens when intelligent, creative people put their heads together.

Me, I'm heading out of town Thursday morning so will miss the last couple of days of the event. I'll try to remember to hoist a virtual cup around the middle of the day Friday, to toast you all!

Many thanks HeartEvil

Do we walk in legends or on the green earth in the daylight?

A man may do both. For not we but those who come after will make the legends of our time. The green earth, say you? That is a mighty matter of legend, though you tread it under the light of day!

Thanks for your work, to all on the team. [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm having to go back and catch up today, cause I spent most of yesterday dealing with medical issues.

It looks like all worked hard and came up with creative ideas--I especially like the idea of the tree with leaves on it for each year on FD.

Gramma and Weaver--you folks are tops!

sure, but make sure you stop back for another drink at Fiesta! [In reply to] Can't Post

As Gramma says, we've got one more surprise up our sleeve, before we roll the credits on the party -- we want to do a big toast for all those who helped on Friday so please stop by for that too, if you can!

Will do, but I'll be late again. I'm supposed to be headed to... [In reply to] Can't Post

the annual Indy "Decorators' Showhouse" which benefits one of our local area hospitals. This year they are doing up the former home of the author Booth Tarkington. I'm going with a friend who took off work, or I'd postpone it. I'll be here later, so save me a drink!

Unfortunately, I've missed most of the festivities, I've felt very run down since returning from NZ last week, and haven't had the chance to do very much!

I will catch up on all the goodies of the week and I'll certainly be around at Fiesta! Smile
