.. just a one up post... not promising any resumption of a regular schedule. Humorous answers just as welcome as accurate ones. These questions haven't been handpicked by me. They are straight off a Trivial Pursuit card. Some of these are ridiculously easy.. some insanely hard. I'm going to provide the categories for each question in case it helps with the answer.
What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli?
Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan?
Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul?
Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon?
What kind of creatures make up most of Saruon's ground troops in the War of the Ring?
How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794?

What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli? Fangirls on the scent of Orlando Bloom. Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan? Mum Roll-on Deodorant. Not that anyone uses it... Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul? No one, because there aren't any tomatoes in Middle-earth! Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon? The short one. What kind of creatures make up most of Sauron's ground troops in the War of the Ring? Those who don't have an Oliphaunt driver licence. How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794? 4794.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Oh, the torture! Oh, the terror! Oh, the things I can do with these! What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli? Balrogs. Since they have no idea whether their wings are real or metaphorical, they have to compensate. Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan? The Beornings. The Rohirrim once lived in their area of Middle-earth, and trade still goes on between them; and Grima has developed a sweet tooth for their honey-cakes. Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul? I don't know about ash in the tomatoes, but a few Nazgul got their ash kicked by Strider! Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon? No, no, it wasn't Bilbo himself that Sandyman was referring to, it was Bilbo's tankard, which the Gaffer was using, and which was dripping onto Frodo's arm as he brought it back to the table. What kind of creatures make up most of Saruon's ground troops in the War of the Ring? Rabid fangirls! How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794? Answer: none. The movie was shown on a large number of screens, but the theater attendants had to do the opening. That was fun, Magpie!

What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli? The ones on his axe handles. Oh, sprinters, not splinters! Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan? Watkins Saddle Sore Salve. Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul? You can get tomatoes with ash? And I thought sugar was kind of odd. I like salt myself. Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon? The same person that said Bilbo was drinking longbottom leaf ale (see hobbit hole post on main). What kind of creatures make up most of Saruon's ground troops in the War of the Ring? Digital ones. It was a Massive army! How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794? I don’t know, but Tinsel Town Cinema in Canton, Ohio, was one of them.

What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli? Those guys on the athletic team. Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan? He himself, he really is a nice guy once you dust him off. Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul? The one closest to Eyjafjallajökull. Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon? The jealous one. What kind of creatures make up most of Saruon's ground troops in the War of the Ring? The mascara team. With a lidless eye, they had nothing to do. How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794? Who cares about the US. I was at the preview in Eindhoven, much more important.

1. dwarves 2. Saruman 3. Pippin 4. tough one. I think it was Sam's Gaffer. 5. uruk-hai 6. I have no idea. I feel I'm going to have to goole this one. Uruk hai? This is Sauron we are talking about here, not Saruman!!! And I would like to answer the remaining questions in a humorous way, but I am just not that creative.. darn!

What beings are natural sprinters, according to Gimli? Dwarves Who does Grima maintain has always been a friend and ally of Rohan? Saruman
Who gets ash in his tomatoes at Amon Sul? Pippin Which Hobbit calls Bilbo "cracked" when drinking ale in The Green Dragon? The Gaffer Magpie waits for the roars of disagreement. That's what the trivia card says. I had a hard time believing it so I looked at two online movie transcripts but they were a bit vague so... out comes the disc. That's Ted Sandyman. (mumbles something about people who just aren't geeky enough to make a game for geeks!) A moment later, the Gaffer says: ..with affection but this is about Frodo, not Bilbo and the question is phrased as Bilbo being called 'cracked', which is what Sandyman says. So, the card is wrong. One hopes that no player lost a game on that mistake. What kind of creatures make up most of Saruon's ground troops in the War of the Ring? Orcs How many screens did The Fellowship of the Ring open in the US on: 2495. 3359, or 4794? 3,359 Does that question seem awkwardly phrased? A lot of them in this game seem so to me. This is the kind of question in the Trivial Pursuit game that seems insanely hard to me. Who would know this? I'll let you all score yourselves. There were some pretty funny answers in those joke answers. Thanks for playing.

Things: Accoding to Gimli dwarves are the natural sprinters but of course he could be biased. :-) Evil Characters: Either himself or Saruman I'm going with the latter. Good Characters: Pippen Places and History: Hmm I have no idea. Either The gaffer or maybe Sandyman? Warfare: Frogs!!! or orcs Making Movies: I'll go with the 3359
What happened when Legolas and Aragorn road with Eomer in the van. Aragorn: Eomer, Legolas has his bow on my side of the seat! Legolas: Well Aragorn keeps slapping me while practicing his "heroic" poses. Eomer: Don't make me turn this van around.

1. Dwarves 2. Saruman 3. oooh tricksy...was it Merry or Pippin, Merry or Pippin ... 50/50 chance here ... I'm going to go with Pippin because he was always thinking and talking about food. 4. oh pooey! I don't know who that character was supposed to be. Was it supposed to be Sam's father? The Gaffer? Otherwise I have no idea. 5. Um... Orcs? 6. Oooooh another no idea. That's a great trivia question though. Hmmm. I'll have to use a scientifically designed special mathematical formula for this one. Let me get my calculator. ok. ahem: eenie meenie minie moe.... catch a tiger by the toe, if he hollers let him go, my mother says to pick the very best one and you are IT 4,794 That was fun! Thanks Magpie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
