My Akallabeth 1.3 post ( http://newboards.theonering.net/forum/gforum/perl/gforum.cgi?post=235910;sb=post_time;so=DESC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed; ) in the Reading Room seems to have acquired a stray strikethrough tag. Oh, now I see what I did. I meant to use brackets in the sense of editing the direct quote, but brackets around the letter S make it strikethough, don't they? Could a mod please check it out and fix it? I guess just change the brackets to regular parentheses: "offer(s)". Thanks.
For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars, and so on -- while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man, for precisely the same reasons. -- Douglas Adams
