Town set to become Middle Earth

A town in Mid Wales is to be turned into a bit of Middle Earth next summer with the launch of a festival based on Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Machynlleth will play host to thousands of fans of the classic fantasy tale who have grown to vast numbers since the books were turned into a series of blockbuster films over the past decade. The man behind the festival is Mark Faith who believes between 5,000 and 10,000 people could be attracted to the three-day event from all over the world. More..
