##**** UPDATED RCMH SEATING CHART 9/21/09 ****###

RCMH Seating Chart 9/21/09 No Name Tags RCMH Seating Chart 9/21/09 with Name Tags RCMH Seating Chart Name 9/21/09 List Only Again, I'd be happy to put together a chart for our Friday Night viewers. So if you'd like one, please pass on your complete seat numbers either here or pm me, and I'll put one together. I know these aren't high quality, and I hope they're legible. If you cut and past them into a word file, you can drag them out to make it larger. For our final charts (the week before the concert), I'll try to make them larger. It's funny, but when I open the file in "paint"... it's HUGE! But there you are. I've changed the layout a little so I'd use less abbreviating. Hey Tamara!! I gotcha in this one, m'dear!!! :D

and make me a perfect match! *entmaiden pretends she can sing*. As part of our organizing for the NYC Moot, we're finding that roommate matches have become difficult. So we're here to help! If anyone needs a roommate, or is looking for a roommate, please PM me and I'll post it here. We will keep all information anonymous until all parties agree to the match, and all financial transactions must be worked out between the roommates. If you are looking to be matched, please let me know the following: 1. gender 2 do you need a roommate of the same gender? 3. Smoking/non-smoking? 4 Do you have a room, or are you looking to share? 5. Arrival/departure dates? (this is mostly relevant for sharing the cost of the room) 6. Is there anything else your possible roomie needs to know? ( eg. Do you wake up in the middle of the night and burst into song?) So for your consideration, I have someone who is looking to share a room. This person, female, non-smoker, has a room and hopes to find a female roommate. Interested? Send me a pm and we'll see if we can make a match!

Drogo is not coming, due to an illness in his family. However, the onetime Jordan the Discursive (her current nick here escapes me) *will* attend. There are 18 of us altogether. I think all are onetime TORnsibs, though I'm incapable of mapping all the nicks old and new.

Nice! Though looking at the chart makes me see how far removed I am from everyone. Literally, there is no one around me for miles of seats. Wow.

Well, my plans for Friday fell through and Saturday isn't very promising either. So now I'm looking at Sunday. What are folks planning for Sunday? After sightseeing all weekend and partying into the wee hours Saturday night, will anyone have the energy to be attending the panel discussions which start at - *gaaaaah* - 10am?? Sure, 10am isn't early ... unless you've been up til 5am the night before ;-). Or, is anyone planning Sunday as their 'downtime', maybe just hanging out at the hotel or nearby, before they leave for the airport? For those staying, there's also a possibility (see post ) about a get together after the panel discussion... Thoughts? Plans? Let's hear 'em ..... Loresilme

It's definitely going to be one of the highlights of the weekend. I think many of the folks who don't have to leave earlier on Sunday will be there. Then, we may have a picnic or get-together afterwards. I'm bummed you don't think Friday or Saturday will work. But we'd love for you to join us on Sunday.

to attend the panels, hope they don't mind some drooping eyes. And after that, who knows what fun things will happen. I still hope a little get together for the 10 year anniversary of first day filming, but otherwise just hanging around with some sibs will be fun. I'll be in NYC until Wednesday, so I'm in no hurry what so ever.

Status report on finding a place to stay: Still unchanged. I have bought all the tickets and such b/v I refuse to believe that I will have to resport to crashing overnight in the waiting area of Penn Station, which is what I will have to do if nobody here is willing to take a forlorn longtime sibbie who is going to her first-ever Moot in. Still, after weeks and weeks of trying, I have found no-one. Like I said, my money is so tight that I simply cannot afford the split a hotel room even 3 ways. And my U2 friend lives too far outside the City for this to work, even if he were going to be there, that weekend, which he isn't--and I won't have a car--so that's out. I am taking the train down from Albany Friday morning, getting into town around 12:30, and leaving Sunday evening at 7. I REFUSE to believe this won't happen. I'm going to be down there no matter what--even I if I have to be kicked out onto the street by the police, and have to show up at RCMH all grubby--dressed in my best but still grubby. I really am only half joking. You-all may think me absolutely nuts, but put yourself in my shoes and imagine you've been on here so long, never met anyone, and never heard the Score live....how badly I want this! Of course *sigh*...nobody will even come to this thread and pay attention to this...but I really am starting to panic...

My "escort" for NYC will be Geeky Son, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's such a good idea. Yesterday I mentioned that we might want to take in an activity after the concert, and he said: "Sure, let's all go to Burger King and each of us order One Onion Ring! With Sweet and Sauron sauce!" You have been warned...

And maybe a meet up at the hotel first, if people are going to go as a group down to the panels. Also, there are people who are leaving on Sunday who won't be going to the panels, so it would be really nice to catch some of them on Sunday before they leave. And get those first-hand reviews of the performance while it's still fresh in everyone's minds! I was wondering, the hotel.... is it one of those that has a big comfortable lobby, or a restaurant or two .... some place where people can congregate, other than their actual hotel rooms? I'll go see if they have a website .... A get-together afterwards would be really nice too, especially if the weather cooperates. The panels are definitely 'downtown' though, so that would need to be kept in mind. The building where the panels are being held, by the way, is spectacular ... if you get a chance, take a look at their website. I am so hoping for good weather that weekend :-).

That leaves time for a get-together afterwards, even for those of us who have to be home before evening. (Else we turn into pumpkins ;-)). Yea! So you're staying in town until Wednesday --- niiiice! It's a great time of year to visit NYC.

It's just that juggling space, schedules, dynamics, etc., gets difficult. In my case I wouldn't mind tripling with you, never mind about the money, but my roomie is over 60, the opposite sex, and not involved in the TORn activities. Surely someone will be able to come through for you -- please don't despair! Do you have a sleeping bag? Could you triple on somebody's floor? ElanorTX

Still love you-know-who, but not with the same insane fervor. Yes, the current Auxerre, who is the onetime, one and only (hopefully) Jords will be there. Heck, I outta dig out my oaktag leaf nametag and wear it!!
