Vote for LOTR on ESPN.com Can't Post

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bill Simmons (The Sports Guy) from ESPN.com is holding a vote for best movie of the Decade, with LOTR being nominated. http://sports.espn.go.com/...o/poll?event_id=3871 With TORNs help, I know we can put it over the top. Thanks!

Done and Continuing! Welcome eluv22 :D [In reply to] Can't Post

It's interesting that they call our selection LotR (2001) and are not just focusing on FotR. I like that all three films are referred to as The One :)

Thanks for the headsup, eluv22... and WELCOME TO TORn!! I love your entrance ;)

*high five*

~Hug like a hobbit!~ "In my heaven..."

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.

Wink

Very interesting selection of movies they have for that poll, but quite pleased that they included the LotR trilogy. Smile

And welcome to TORn, eluv!

Thanks! [In reply to] Can't Post

I've been following TORn since the beginning (well... the beginning being pre FotR) but I'm just not a big message board kinda guy. Now that I'm here though, I might just stay a while. Smile

LotR is obviously the strongest choice on the list, but I like all the other nominees. I know Bill Simmons is really pulling for Almost Famous.

ESPN poll [In reply to] Can't Post

I voted. I remember how back in the day a poll like this would have been totally overwhelmed by Ringers. It's kind of sad that it has died down so much.
