Hello & Radio City Music hall Can't Post

Hello! I am just wondering if there is an area of this site that talks about the RCMH concert in October - and if there are any special events for TORN members? Thank you! And hello, Magpie, from "galadriel"'s friend!

Welcome [In reply to] Can't Post

When you ask about an area of the 'site', there are really two places you'll find RCMH info.

This 'forum' has a thread dedicated to those planning to attend. Follow this link: http://newboards.theonering.net/...i?post=159698#159698
and just announce you're going. There are lots of posts in that thread. Too many to read, perhaps.

These might be useful to check:

Want to see where everyone's sitting?

Official Radio City Hotel and LOTR weekend Rates in here!!!

Updated list of attendees: 60 people! (although more have been added to that list)

I think announcements about events and activities are yet to come.

But the front page is also a part of this site that has (and will) talk about RCMH. These are the articles on the front page about RCMH.

I'm glad you're here. Say hello to all our mutual friends.. including the ones peering over your shoulder right now! I see you guys. :-)

Well, Magpie already guided you to all the best places to look for information.
Are you going to go to the concert in New York?

Hi there! [In reply to] Can't Post

Are you going to be joining us all in NYC?

In addition to the links that Magpie gave, gramma's figured out where we'll all be sitting!

And welcome to TORn!

*blushes* [In reply to] Can't Post

Of course, I also need your TiME and BS posts to wake up my brain in the morning - a daily "dose" of Tolkien is good for more than just the soul! Laugh

LOL [In reply to] Can't Post

it is more funner because you made me laugh at your coffee comment. I posted something the other day after waking (against my will) at 5:00 and went back to read it at noon and it was a mess! That will teach us.

I'd rather err on the side of posting twice than missing it completely.

Oh, dear! [In reply to] Can't Post

That is embarrassing! But I know what you mean about responding when you first read something; too often I've taken a quick glance through a Board, only to later forget what I'd read! Laugh

(I claim the over-50-with-degenerating-brain-cells excuse! Wink)

*hangs head in shame* [In reply to] Can't Post

It's way too often that I barely have time to reply to posts, so I can't read through the other posts before replying. Hence, many opportunities for "hoof in mouth disease". Nasty, reckless, poor time management ;)

But it sure [In reply to] Can't Post

can make things interesting - and amusing! Laugh

(You should see me responding to a string of posts in the RR: who said what? how to respond to several who made the same great observation? ack! - got to edit this one before the time runs out! Laugh)

And then there's realizing when it's too late that I've made an obvious grammatical error...fortunately TORnfolk are most forgiving! Heart
