  #1 Bill seems hungry enough eat anything but would Sam be willing to feed him salty hard tack?

#2 Sea Biscuit would run circles around Bill. but it could be a tortoise hare sort of race . Sea Biscuit being used to a race track would go haring off on a curve and Bill would keep plodding straight ahead.
