A nice article on Ian and his career with some focus on "Lord Of The Rings", of course. The article only mentions "The Hobbit" in that he's expected to start filming next year - despite the fact he's not "officially" on-board yet. But then again, he will be - we all know that!

I didn't know he'd played Salieri. I will finally have to make time to check out a copy of the stage play...if I can ever find it on film. Didn't Mark Hamill play Mozart for a while too?

Dear Dive Twin:
I just read it now and enjoyed it very much. I can't see anyone playing Gandalf other than Sir Ian - - I hope that filming on The Hobbit will start sometime soon
