Edward Cullen is a immortal, stronger, faster, Magickal Creature of some sort, so I'd say that by plain common sense and by Tolkien's own philosophy he'd beat Turin. But then Turin's relatives and friends would kill him, making it happy ending after all!

And that's all I'm gonna say. Don't get me started on my deep loathing for Edward Cullen.

Thanks! It's nice to actually post. I've visited TORn since before the trilogy came out, but just didn't de-lurk.

He'd loose instantly: Turin sets his mind on killing some one, Turin kills them, THE END.

I'm going to go with Turin for 2 reasons. 1) He's AWESOME. And 2)... I absolutly despise Edward Cullen. And Jasper Cullen. And Emmet... and Rosalie... and Alice... and Bella.. and anyone else in Twlight. (I'm not a big Twilight fan can you tell?)

...because I now remember, having finally received and completed reading The Children of Hurin, why I like him so much. And also due to the fact that this boring fascination, fantasy and sci-fi screen writers have with vampires is wearing ludicrously thin. Don't know about Cullen, but if I see another Vampire programme, full of angst and other c**p, then I'll explode. Cheers Padster PS If you like modern portrayals of vampires, then you are pretty much a Goth, or even worse a closet Goth. Be afraid, be very afraid!

He'd loose instantly: Turin sets his mind on killing some one, Turin kills them, THE END. Because Edward would know when Turin just thought about killing him. So Edward 1 - Turin 0
