"Mr. Roarke" and "The Prisoner" have died... Can't Post

Ricardo Montalban, 88 (best known as Mr. Roarke in the TV series "Fantasy Island") and Patrick McGoohan, 80 (TV's "The Prisoner"), have died.

I grew up with both these TV shows and these men were truly great actors.

God Bless. God Keep.

Blessed are the cracked,
For they are the ones who let in the light!

Oh no! [In reply to] Can't Post

I remember watching reruns of The Prisoner with my Mum, we both loved it. I was kind of hoping he'd get a cameo in the remake!

Sad news. [In reply to] Can't Post

May they both rest in peace in that great sci-fi convention in the sky.

'Tis sad... [In reply to] Can't Post

Patrick McGoohan was brilliant as Edward I ('Longshanks') in the movie Braveheart.

*frown* Both men were [In reply to] Can't Post

part of a change in how things were done. Ricardo more as Kahn for me as he helped save Star Trek films with his amazing performance and reprise of his character from the tv program. And McGoohan lead the way in the 1960's fantastical/spy-based genre that really took off.

peace for them and their family, friends, and fans.

I really need these new films to take me back to, and not re-introduce me to, that magical world.
