Samwise and Frodo at Osgiliath Can't Post

I am a poor lipreader. Can anyone tell me what Samwise was saying to Frodo (after Frodo's hearing cuts out) at Osgiliath?

Well, maybe not...

More likely: "we'll get through this just like we always have", or something close to that...but I know others here know the exact line and will likely show up to post it!

And I've been trying forever to hear... [In reply to] Can't Post

what Gandalf says to Frodo before they enter Moria. Gandalf took Frodo aside and talked to him but I've never been able to hear it all, only separate words (there is something about the Ring and it's growing power, and that Gandalf felt it too but the rest is mistery to me) Crazy

closed captions [In reply to] Can't Post

Turning on the closed captions will help with this scene. Or just google the name of the movie and the word 'transcript' and find a number of sites that offer transcripts.

From StupidRing.com

Gandalf: Frodo, come and help an old man. How is your shoulder?
Frodo: Better than it was.
Gandalf: And the Ring? You feel it's power growing, don't you? I've felt it too. You must be careful now. Evil will be drawn to you from outside the Fellowship. And, I fear, from within.
<Boromir walks past them.>
Frodo: Who then do I trust?
Gandalf: You must trust yourself. Trust your own strengths.
Frodo: What do you mean?
Gandalf: There are many powers in the world for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. And against some I have not yet been tested.

Sufferin' succotash!! / [In reply to] Can't Post

******************************************
The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.”

in all seriousness [In reply to] Can't Post

Did anyone find out what he said? I did as you suggested but at the part he talks but is muted the script just says 'Sam continues to speak but his voice fades away and we can only see his lips moving.' or something like that. So what did he actually say?

I think that's the serious thing he actually says -- if not, it's pretty close to it!

"...together..." [In reply to] Can't Post

"We'll get through this together, just like we always have" is what I think Sam says. The "together" is a little hidden foreshadowing, perhaps - pretty soon Gollum will start to drive a wedge between them, and once Frodo and Sam aren't together any more, getting through will become much, much harder...

Farewell, friends! I hear the call.
The ship’s beside the stony wall.
Foam is white and waves are grey;
beyond the sunset leads my way.
